Price vs Value

PRICE VS VALUE.png

Often times we want to get the best deal possible when we are contracting services with a company. We have all shopped around getting prices for work we want completed. We invest so much into our homes, cars, properties, landscaping, etc., not to search for the most economical option. But, is quantity or quality the better way to go? “You get what you pay for,” is the most common phrase in a competitive contractor industry these days. This is true for plumbers, electricians, tree service companies, and so on. It is extremely important to research the companies from whom you are requesting quotes. Do they carry the correct insurance? Do they have the appropriate certifications to perform the work? Can they provide the documentation to support their qualifications? Do they require personal protective equipment for their employees? What professional affiliations do they belong to? Specific to tree work, are they registered with the NJ Board of Tree Experts?
